GTA San Andreas Secrets & Easter Eggs — Hidden Locations (2026)
GTA San Andreas secrets and Easter eggs guide. Ghost cars, Area 69, Gant Bridge sign, Bigfoot myth and hidden interiors with cheat codes.
Hidden Secrets in GTA San Andreas
GTA San Andreas has the biggest map of the classic GTA trilogy and it's packed with secrets most players never find. From the Ghost Cars in the countryside to mysterious UFOs and hidden interiors, SA is a treasure trove of Easter eggs.
Ghost Cars (Back O' Beyond)
In the Back O' Beyond forest (between San Fierro and Los Santos), cars appear from nowhere and drive themselves downhill. These "Ghost Cars" are actually spawning on slopes and rolling due to physics — but at night in the dark forest, it's genuinely creepy.
Bigfoot Myth
The biggest gaming myth of the 2000s. Players claimed to see Bigfoot in the forests of San Andreas. Rockstar confirmed Bigfoot doesn't exist in the game — but they later added him to GTA V as a real Easter egg (referencing this myth).
Area 69 (Military Base)
San Andreas' version of Area 51 is called Area 69, located in the desert. You can break in during a story mission or by using cheats. Inside you'll find the Jetpack and military vehicles.
- Use ROCKETMAN to fly over the walls
- Use BAGUVIX + AEZAKMI to survive the soldiers and avoid stars
Gant Bridge Easter Egg
Climb to the top of the Gant Bridge (San Fierro's Golden Gate Bridge) and you'll find a sign that reads: "There are no Easter Eggs up here. Go away." Rockstar's classic humor.
Hidden Interiors
San Andreas has many interiors accessible only through glitches or mods: Liberty City (a miniature version), the hidden sex shop, abandoned buildings, and the infamous "Hot Coffee" room. Use the Blue Hell glitch (falling through the map) to access some of them.
