Why You Should Never Skip Class in Bully

Classes in Bully aren't just filler content — they give permanent, game-changing rewards. Each class is a unique minigame, and completing all levels of each class unlocks powerful abilities, weapons, or stat boosts. Skipping class means missing out on the best tools in the game AND getting chased by Truancy Officers. This guide covers every class with strategies for acing the minigames.

📌 Beginner Guide | All Cheat Codes

🏦

📐 English Class — Word Scramble

Minigame: Unscramble jumbled letters to form words within a time limit. Difficulty increases per level.

Rewards:

  • Level 1: Better apologies to Prefects (less trouble time)
  • Level 2: Additional taunt dialogue options
  • Level 3: Ability to apologize to Police officers
  • Level 4: Improved verbal interactions with all NPCs
  • Level 5: Ability to talk your way out of trouble with any authority figure

💡 Tip: Focus on common English word patterns. Look for prefixes (UN-, RE-, PRE-) and suffixes (-ING, -TION, -LY) first.

💎

🎨 Art Class — Painting/Drawing

Minigame: Trace outlines and fill in colors within a time limit. Scholarship Edition adds extra art styles.

Rewards:

  • Level 1: Small gift to give to girls (increases relationship)
  • Level 2: Medium gift
  • Level 3: Large gift
  • Level 4: Extra large gift
  • Level 5: Best gift possible — almost guarantees a kiss from any girl
🏆

🧪 Chemistry Class — Button Sequence

Minigame: Press buttons in the correct sequence as they appear on screen — essentially a rhythm game. Gets faster each level.

Rewards:

  • Level 1: Firecrackers — throwable explosive that stuns groups
  • Level 2: Stink Bombs — area-denial weapon, clears rooms
  • Level 3: Itching Powder — disables enemies for several seconds
  • Level 4: Bottle Rocket Launcher components
  • Level 5: Full Bottle Rocket Launcher — the most powerful ranged weapon before the Spud Gun

⚡ Chemistry is the most important class. The weapons it gives are essential for harder chapters.

💼

🏋️ Gym Class — Dodgeball & Wrestling

Minigame: Dodgeball (throw and dodge balls in a team match) and wrestling (grapple timing minigame).

Rewards:

  • Each level unlocks a new fighting move: uppercut, knee strike, headbutt combo, leg sweep
  • Level 5: All advanced grapple moves + running tackle

💡 Dodgeball tip: Hold block (L2) right before the opponent throws — you'll catch the ball without taking damage. Then counter-throw immediately while enemies are still in position.

📈

🎵 Music Class (Scholarship Edition Only)

Minigame: Rhythm-based button pressing to play musical instruments. Similar to Guitar Hero.

Rewards: Unlocks music-related items and extra radio stations for vehicles.

🔑

📸 Photography Class (Scholarship Edition Only)

Minigame: Find and photograph specific subjects around the school and town.

Rewards: Camera upgrades, unique photo opportunities that unlock yearbook entries, and bonus cash.

🗺️

🔬 Shop Class

Minigame: Fix bicycles and go-karts by completing mechanical puzzles.

Rewards:

  • Level 1: BMX Bike upgrade (faster)
  • Level 2: Improved bike durability
  • Level 3+: Go-Kart access — fastest vehicle in the game

📊 Priority Order — Which Classes to Complete First

  1. Chemistry — Weapons are critical for combat. Do this first.
  2. Gym — Fighting moves make every encounter easier.
  3. English — Talking out of trouble saves time and frustration.
  4. Shop — Go-Kart is a huge travel advantage.
  5. Art — Romance gifts are fun but not essential for progress.
  6. Photography/Music — Bonus content, do these last.
