Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has a full developer console with dozens of commands that give you gold, troops, items, teleportation and more. Plus cheat hotkeys for instant combat advantages. This guide covers how to enable cheats and every useful command.
⚙️ How to Enable Cheats
Method 1 — In-Game Console (Easiest)
- Press Alt + ~ (tilde) to open the developer console
- Type:
config.cheat_mode 1 - Press Enter — cheats are now active
Method 2 — Config File
- Navigate to:
Documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord/Configs/ - Open engine_config.txt
- Find
cheat_mode = 0and change tocheat_mode = 1 - Save the file
🔑 Essential Console Commands

⌨️ Cheat Hotkeys (In Battle)
| Hotkey | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+H | Fully heal your character |
| Ctrl+Shift+H | Fully heal your horse |
| Ctrl+F4 | Knock out one random enemy |
| Ctrl+Alt+F4 | Knock out ALL enemies instantly |
| Ctrl+F2 | Knock out one of your own troops |
| Ctrl+F3 | Knock out your own character |
🗺️ World Map Cheat
Ctrl + Left Click on the world map = teleport your party anywhere instantly. This is the most useful cheat for skipping long travel times.
